happenings in oklahoma

allright okie hambers
am looking for happenings in okahoma during the remaining summer and into the fall. Have been scouring the web and not a whole lot coming up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don't have a ride right now other than my 95 dodge pickup but still wanna go to some events and get into the scene up here. Hopefully before to much longer i can get at least one ride up n going.

 

Tonitown swap and car show is in Sept. It's over near springdale Ar. Good swap meet.
Hamb Drags isn't too far away, that's in Aug.

not gonna be able to do the hamb drags to far on to short a notice this time around.
and not shure about the springfield swap meet.
just got back to oklahoma the first part of july and trying to get everything done n set up n get a shop to work out of.
but def will keep things in mind.

the 23 i have been building is still in PA till i can go and pick the rest of the parts up
and i need to get the 38 out of the weeds and close to the garage so i can work on it

There is a car show in alva on the 16,17,&18th of september... Not a ton of cars thought everything from 1920's stockers to new mustangs... no admission .. if you drive your car ( entered in the show ) they gave out 25 dollar gas voudhers if you drove ver 75? or so miles

 

Check out the Okahoma Street Rod ***ociation website ( http://www.ohra.us/ ). They have a real good calendar, but the website can be kinda slow.

 

How about the Guthrie Road Show in Mineral Wells Park Sept 15th or the Drive In Oct 20th in Guthrie.....
