Anyone know how to remove exterior door handle? Dont see any pins and it has an octagon shaped nut on the backside. Trying to save/reuse handle. Can send pics if needed. Its a 31 CD 1st production. Thanks!:D

Ok, outside handle, not inside like your other thread seemed to be asking.

I am not familiar with the octagon nut? is that way inside the door on the backside of theouter door skin?

Many square drive outer handles need to be turned 45 degrees, before they can slide out. You might need to hold the inside handle to keep the outer handle at 45 degress, then wiggle as you try to find the right spot.

There is some sort of anti theft design, so people could not just take 2 screws out to open the door.

Going back in, you must use the inner handle to keep the square holes inside the latch, aligned.

what I'm trying to say; is besides the square hole inside that moves the latch, there is another plate with a square hole, that acts as an an***heft device.

There was a guy on AACA forums, I think his name was "the handles guy" that deals in used handles. He's on ebay, but not the same name.
