Shooting for something similar to this set up when finished (Bass' roadster) and obviously I'm using bones:

Sorry for the slow update, we've all been a bit under the weather. Not to mention its been hot as balls out in the garage but here is a little progress update:

As you may know the CE X member needs a little help in the pedal area to get them to line up right. Angle of the Dangle you might say.... Here it is all finished up:

In order to sneak the exhaust in next to the trans and out of view, we made some reliefs in the x member out of 3 inch:

more to come soon (this cut up plate will make more sense later, I promise):

Hey oo! Beachcomber, keep it up! Watching your build for inspiration for mine. Fun to see mounts that are close to what I am thinking (and making). Rock on!

Sorry for the delay guys, here are a few more crappy cell phone pictures.

The trans plate might look a bit foreign at the moment or something to prevent IED attacks but its coming together still.

I hate fiberglass but this build is WAAAY more traditional than half the stuff we see on here! I totally dig the direction you're taking this thing. Consider me subscribed.

I'm realy disapointed with this thread. I was actualy expecting a real hot tub made out of the glass duce!

( but I would settle for the car though)

Thanks for the positive feedback guys!!

Got the rear shocks mounted last night, I'll roll it out today with them mounted for better pictures. I've seen this done on this board before, just can't remember who to give credit too but, its basically just rear wishbone ends used as bottom mounts.

Like I said, I'll get some better pictures in the daylight today!

And the headlight bar is finished (again props to Bass for the idea) and driver's side headlight needs a little tweaking

What size are those front tires? It looks like the sticker says 5.00/5.25's?

yep 5.00/5.25-16 on a 4.5 inch wide rim... Thinking about going to the v8-60 3.5 inch with the 4.50/4.75 tire.

    Hubcap1=Guy in flip flops!

Well, its probably the most untraditional part of the build but at least I'll have multiple reels in the water at one time. Great odds of catching something ya know....

What a great stance. Headlight mounts are perfect too. I can't wait to see more updates.

For the record, let's just say its dangerous to work if your not comfortable! Yes, the hot little nuggets of liquid hot magma that occasionally fall deep inside that sensitive area between the first and second toe are very painful to say the least. I feel the benefits of sandals in the work place far outway the dangers, but only if said person is a professional sandal wearer. Not to take away from your 32 build but who's green coupe is that in the back ground? I will do my best in the future to wear shoes. If I had known these pics would be posted on the Internet I would of at least worn socks!
