How to convert your 8BA Oil Bath Air Filter to Paper/Dry type

    To avoid feeding obvious trolls, I won't quote anyone.

    Cost of maintaining original "superior" oil bath air cleaner= Zero
    Superior due to cost, maintenance is easy, reliable and durable in all conditions.
    Example, as air filter fills with dirt the level of oil rises therefore keeping performance consistant.

    Most roads back in the day were mostly dirt roads, oil bath filters were great at keeping out all the large dirt and dust particles.
    Fast foward to the year 2012, most roads are paved and dirt is not the problem it once was. Fine particles that do not weigh much are better filtered by paper filters. just my .02 :D

    Looks good. No messy oil to deal with.
    We have a hay wagon with a oil bath air filter off a White truck from the early 60's. It has a small block Chevy for power it is in the dirt and fine hay the oil bath works great , but is nasty.
