We have a 32 pickup minus cowl vent hinge. Quite different from our 32 3w vent. The lower panel where the hinge attaches to is at an angle where as on the car it is 90 degrees to the top flap.
    Will a car hinge fit?

what you have is an early 32 cowl vent [angled one]. it is interchangable with the 90 degree one if you have the matching hinge part that bolts on lid. if not the 90m degree one with its matching hinge will fit. hinge part that is spot welded to opening is the same foe both lids.

Thanks K32T for the pictures of how a 90 degree vent fits but ours is as we have been told by the gurus an early vent, with the angled bracket.
So may need to scare up a later model 32 hinge to see if it fits.

I don't think it does. I've undrilled that piece and made the 90deg to fit new hinge hardware.
