There are tabs on the inner part of the base rails behind each motor plate, once there drilled through I will remove the excess plate on top of the rails, I did it that way to help line it all up and slide the engines along the rails to find the right position for them from the pinion forward.

Got me some new wheels today, square slot AREs which may be later than my time frame aim but I think they suit it much better than the 5 spokes, also started the alloy chassis panels, made from supermarket car park signs, free but now have to get rid of the white powder coating................. 10. leave the white stuff mark it will be invisible through the tyre smoke

  11. I love your car. Very nice work. I would change the uprights behind the seat though. You have a lot of weight there and even if you just want to play. I seem to remeber when Darrell Gwynn went over to Santa Pod to do some exhibition runs he thought he didn't need his arm restraints. We all know the rest of that story. Nice job on the car.

Not sure which uprights you think are wrong or why? there will be kidney tubes in place just not in yet, and I already have arm restraints, got some rattle can primer on the body tonight,,,,,,,,,, [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Cut loads out the body stays and got it back on the chassis for flipping and sorting the cowl area out, also to remind myself what it looks like, I pleased..... [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Best way to deal with the cowl and screen are was to cut it out and make a separate mould, also bent a frame for the top insert [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Very behind on this due to one thing or another, but I have decided that both engines will be up and running coupled together before the new year, happy to report that No1 fired up and ran great today!, also found out that I now need to source or make 4 taller valve covers as the the roller rockers are all trying to get out the top, no vid as we were to busy smiling but the heat rings on the headers look pretty good to me. Lost my Dad a while back so things have been a bit slow here, but its going forward now thanks to Jeff, Hes doing a blinding job on the body which has now become the mould so it will be about 20 stone lighter and he/we can take a few from to sell as there has been some interest for a couple more, hope you like http://imagehosting.rodsnsods.co.uk/603516eba2a57c52.jpg http://imagehosting.rodsnsods.co.uk/603516eba05882d4.jpg http://imagehosting.rodsnsods.co.uk/603516eb9d9c0126.jpg http://imagehosting.rodsnsods.co.uk/603516eb9b2a47ad.jpg
