I had a pair of Fatman lowered up rights and steering arms for many years before I finally got around to installing them, and by then i also had a pair of springs that where 1.5 coils shorter than stock. I had to make custom rubber hoses to clear the kingpins, but everything else seemed to go together great.

I planned on an alignment, but still wanted to get it close inorder to not shred the tires on the drive over. Problem I have is that the camber is so far off, I dont think it can be adjusted enough. The only thing I can think of is the coils are too short.

Has anyone had a problem with not enough camber adjustment after this swap? Could it be the springs?

Mine worked out ok.. I doubt its an issue, but have to ask, did you get the spindles back on the same sides they came from?

Sounds like you have the knuckle on the upright upside down. It will wack the camber out bad. Ask me how I know...

When I flipped the uprights on my shubox, I had to actually heat the uprights and bend them to get my camber adjusted. I set the adjustment to the centered position and parked on a level driveway/shop floor. Heated and moved the wheel to the verticle position, using a big ol carpenter square. I was able to get it close enough the alignment shop used the adjustment eccentrics to dial it in perfectly. As the previous poster said...double check the spindle isn't mounted to the upright upside down.

I might have turned them upside down by mistake, but they are definitely in the correct side, as I did them one side at a time.

I am running 215/75/15 firestone tires as well, and dont have enough clearance. The tires are lest than .125 from the tire. That might change if the spindles are on upside down.
