That's the Rambler Mercedes copied the rear end of...

Look thru a Steele rubber catalog The weather strip is probabay just shaped extruded rubber lengths like the aluminum window frames are extruded aluminum.

Keep on preaching the good word of the Rambler. I just talked to this guy here that is re-building my starter and he said, "Why did you pick a Rambler to re-do? I have seen other cars here but never a Rambler." I told him that he just answered his question.

who wants her? push button auto and all......no motor BRAKES WORKED!

like i said, ill go in on it too. i want the front seat and the white wall tires.

guy wants 500....its a car lot we can get him down to 400!!!!!

  19. What are you running under the hood, the stock drivetrain?

The one I picked up I finally got under to see that the unibody frame rails have some pretty nasty rot spots in them (although the only iffy spot in the suspension is around the sway bar bracket). So I'm thinking I will see if I can just cut it out and fit some other frame under it, who knows - it's going to be a long time before I get to it.

Sad thing is the car's been parked since 1967 right down to the plates, it's pretty nice and would clean up easily other than that rot.
