USFRA - the 'other' Bonneville Event - Who's Going?

My buddy ModelABrian and I are heading out to the USFRA event next week.

Who else is gonna be there?

 

It's usually referred to as "World of Speed", just so you know.

 

Or in more colloquial terms "the Outlaw Meet".

 

My tan from Speedweek is fading a bit....

We'll be there trying things out for the firdt time in the 130 club. Either in an OT Mini or my buddies '46 Ford.

 

I'll be there Sunday.

 

Helped out my local buddy, Don Nuss, with his streamliner.
It's run 341on a 379 record, considered the World's Fastest Ford powered automobile.
Unfortunately, a sideways slide wiped out his 2 rear tires, and we didn't have any spares, plus, an oil return line came off and filled the ****pit with smoke at 271 mph.
Oh, well, maybe next year....

 

We were out in my father in laws '50 Plymouth. He got the 130 club. Next year we will aim for 150. We had a great time and met some fantastic people.

 

NateSedan, I talked with your Father in Law for a little while, Helluva nice guy, knows his stuff, too.

 

Dont tell him that or he will need a bigger helmet.
