    i was sitting here reminiscing, and trying to count how many cars i've owned over the years,,,i came up with over seventy,,,here are some pics of some of my favorites...

    Nice memories and some great cars in there. I came up with about 40 for myself and thought i was addicted. You like them all just like me. Gotta have one of each.:)

  4. I know you told me about that 56 "Ranchero", Jim ,but this is the first pic I've seen....that thing is *****in' :cool: The Caddy 3w was the first thing I saw you do that really slapped my face, and I still like it--very cool, brutha :)

    Did that Caddy ever get finished? That one was a personal fave. Also, isn't that black shoebox with the fins on it what would eventually morph into the Telstar? Or is that just another, similar one?

    yes,,,,,once upon a time...

    the caddy was chopped @ chopolds shop...it now resides in europe with a HAMBer.........miss that car....

    squablow,,,yes, that pic of the finned shoebox is one of the very early incarnations of the telstar...

    Jim - y'all doin the Meatheads run this Saturday? I didn't take enough time to talk with ya last weekend, and still haven't made the 12-block trek to see the current in-car-nation of the Telstar... we need to schedule somethin.

    That black shoebox with flames was yours?
    I've seen it in here Finland.I dont know who owns it at the moment,but i bought a 8ba from the previous owner few yrs ago.

    yes,,,that would be it....sold it to a hamber in finland 6-7 years ago...i heard he put the side gl*** in.....how's it lookin nowadays?

    if you would have looked at it, you WOULD have bought it...the thing that ****s the most is that i hammered on the guy that owned it for almost 20 years, until he finally gave in and sold it...after all that, i ran into some money problems and had to sell her,,went to a guy in louisiana that planned to "streetrod" it,,,,hopefully, i'll never see it again :eek:

    I dont have any fresh pics of it,it looks like pretty much same nowadays.Same color,same flames.When i last saw it,it looked like there was nothing else done to it than riding it.
