    Better late than never.
I got this '65 about 6 years ago. I just woke it up from a 3 year sleep. Come winter it's in for some changes.
Here's a shot of it at Frankenmuth 2012. It's first major outing in over 3 years.

  4. Different = good, I like it.

  5. Since this thread is back up ... I saw a 61 convertible today and it was sure a neat looking car. I'm curious, is there room for four adults to travel comfortably in a 1961 Bird? Im sure its fine up front, no idea about the back seats though.

Not exactly sure when I'll get around to making it a reality, but this rendering by SixPack Greg Leterrier shows the mods I'm making to my '61 convertible.

    Looks great!
A '61-'63 T-Bird is definitely on my short list of cars I want to own.

That 1962 is beautiful, especially the interior. Nice work.

I have a Thunderbird, too, but it wouldn't be welcome here (not old enough).

The old girl, she got named Annette and it stuck... just starting to track down and get all the missing trim on.. next I will attack the interior and then finally the paint... 1961 and still has the original 390

What colors is your buddy's 62? I like the two tone combination.

thanks for the kind words. As for colour the roof is 2012 Ford pearl white, the body is a custom mixed colour...a little darker than stock for better contrast.

  23. heres mine the way it is at the moment, alot more is planed but this'll do for now....
btw this is the same car in post #46

Is that blue-green the same color that came in the center of the T-Bird logo in certain years? I like it. Good looking car.

  25. that wasnt the intention but come to think of it it is very similar. its a factory aussie 2007 ford falcon pearl colour called breeze, tho i have added some lace and a little roth cloud nine flake over the top

Except for the Scallops it was a really neat car but a tad too much work for me at the moment and those Thunderbirds are REALLY small cars!
