I need to shorten my drive shaft. I believe its a 37? tube style. Any one have any recomendations for the job? I have aready shortened the torq tube to size. Im in shoreline but willin to go anywhere in seattle area Thanks!!
If you can't find anybody there, Driveline Services of Wenatchee has a jig for doing torque tubes and inner shafts. 509-665-9495
Try Jean @ Precision Driveshaft in Kirkland, 425-889-1456. Jean has shortened and balanced all the driveshafts for my Crusty Cruisers.
Here's another vote for Driveline's Northwest. They made a brand new driveshaft for a '57 Pontiac of mine a few years ago. Top notch work and they even dusted off a Hot Wheels car and gave it to my then 4yo son.
I will also Recommend Drivelines NW. I used their shop in Yelm to balance a 2 piece driveshaft! Very good work!
I ended up calling them them and the one in everett took it in.Looked great and they said it was even straiter then when they got it (sho knows?) but it looked very nice.
