Hey, thanks for posting all the great pics. I just started looking and saw a local, Danny Brown, from Alexandria, In, just a few miles up the road from me. Its the 30/31 red oxide coupe on deuce rails with the white firewall and flatty power. That hot rod has been around here a long time and has been everywhere. (its got tools in the trunk to meet the definition too ) Thanks again
51 great job. i'd be interested in some bigger ones of my little p/u. i had a ****ing blast, you? i'll never miss it again. i'm the ****tiest photographer in the world. nothing i took came out decent. thanx, rural
I'd like to say Next best thing to being there, but that not true. There is nothing like being there. Great shots though. I never get tired of seeing hotrods on the salt. Thanks again.
that's a fact. you can watch vids, check pics your entire life and until you go and feel it, you haven't been there. i was the ultimate experience. i'll never miss it again. i'll post pics of my trek shortly.
Thanks for the positive feedback folks. The photos did turn out pretty well considering my camera is pretty ghetto. I've got a lot of PM's requesting emailing people certain photos. What I'm going to do is make the image clickable above when someone requests it. That way you can just right click on it, hit "download link to disk" or whatever and save the full sized image to your computer. I'm not doing it this way to be mean and not email, but so that others can get them too whenever they want. If a particular photo isn't clickable, just PM me and I'll upload the full sized image for you.
How to download them? Only the first two in the first post are downloadable because those are the ones people have requested large sizes for. As I get requests for others, I'll add them. No point in having a large size of all of them when only a few are what people want. Anywho, you just right click on it and tell it to save the link to a disk with a right click. Every computer is a bit different, but should work that way. If you click on it, it will just open another browswer window with the full sized photo in it...which you then have to download to your 'puter if you want it.
Haha! I got that part! (But thanks just the same!) I meant how you set up the photos in your post so people can right-click and D/L the big ones. Sorry for being unclear! (I had already snagged the 2nd one before I posted.)
I've gone to alot of different races. Did the Pikes Peak. Next stop I hope to be the Salts before they're gone. Building a Bantam altered, Who knows. Great pics, thanks for sharing. I love that stuff.
so here is my pilgrimmage to bonny-ville. i've said it once and i'll say it again, absolutely ****ing killer. must do for anyone that has ever dreamt it. i drove this sum***** 600 miles round trip. it was "the" testament to a well-built rod. i give rudy and steve moody the credit. i'm just lucky enough to drive it now. it was 90 degrees plus and in the middle of the day. the ****er went 80-85 mph at 190 degrees all day long. not bad for a flatty huh? up mtn p***es and down the desert stretches of I-80. i couldn't be more jacked about it. can ya tell? my killer bride was my co pilot and photographer. i gotta give her some lovin, it was our 7 yr anniversary. she thought she was going to hell for the weekend and absolutely dug it. i think she was more amped about the happenings than i was. anyways, cheers to all that had a good trip and to all that may make it home safe. see ya next year. pach sidenote: met the throttlers from slc. cool dudes for sure. for the record, woody's truck is a different truck and it is different in more ways than one. he did some killer work. nice job man. let's hook up again. met jimmy shine too. seemed like a decent guy.
In efforts to not make another B-ville pic post.... I'll add to your collection btw- it was great to meet you Dano.... but the headrest in my car is covered in murrays..... hahaha
Thanks for sharing the great pics...I'm going to have to make it out that way in the next couple of years.
