get on the studebaker drivers club forum. Guys on there will help you out, and there are a lot of parts out there.
They were not that popular as the other V8 engines but they are out there. I'd be doing a weekly search on Ebay while I put out want ads on the Stude sites.

If my memory sorta works, you can use early Cad V8 intakes by enlongating a couple of mounting holes, which will give you a few more options like tri-powers or dual 4's?
. That would be for Looks only. They can be made to fit, but the ports can never be matched up correctly for performance. .
I believe if your engine is a 2bbl motor you can easily modify it to accept a afb style 4bbl. The stud bosses are already there just nee to be drilled and tapped and the opening for the 4bbl hogged out.
The #1 speed part for a 259" is a 289" crankshaft with .060" flat top pistons to make it a 299". Easiest, least expensive horsepower you can buy. jack vines
I should not say this on a Sunday, but my experience and it is not stude specific experience it is just a generalization, is that more often than not when multi carbs are bolted on it has absolutely nothing to do with performance.
I heard from a guy at the national meet some years back, that a small block mopar(318,340,360) manifold had the same port spacing , and could be made to work after trimming off the water crossover, and back section. There is some work involved, but makes for some neat options, or nothing more than a cool saturday "what if" afternoon in the garage.
The Cad. swap is a bust if you want it to work correctly. Not worth the effort (lots), unless all you want is looks. The Mopar swap is ok but the spacers required are expensive. Offenhauser made a four barrel manifold. They can be found on e-bay every now and again. Although they have smaller runners thAn the 259/289 manifolds, they still work fine. I've had one on my daily driver Lark for many years with an old Edelbrock 500cfm Performer carb. on it. AND...being aluminum, they take a BUNCH a weight off the front of the car.. Unfortunatly, there arent too many choises out there. A stock four barrel is heavy, but works just fine with a stock cam and heads (or near stock cam and heads..!). A few months back, you coulda called me and got a roller cam of your choise out of it...! Now have adjustable cam gear drives going. Mike P.S. - a hot rod intake manifold isn't gonna pick up many hp's with stock or near stock cam and heads. Stude matched everything pretty well overall flow wise.
Hey'''to over to the "ebay and outside links" forum of the classifieds. There's a guy in Seattle selling a whole shit load of 53 stude parts and 2 complete coupes...all for $850! There are several photos of engines and parts...maybe a 4 barrel setup in the mix.. But, really! Two complete 53 stude coupes, both V/8 commanders for 850 clams. Better hurry, he's in a sweat to get rid of 'em.
Isn't a 259 just a shorter stroke 289? Maybe searching for 289 stuff will help. I know it's out there, Stude themselves supercharged the things for a few years.
Ted Harbit really knows his stuff. Phil bought his speed parts business, but Ted still sells some things... Phil Harris is good to deal with. Good prices, too. Not mentioned : Dave Thibeault (pronounced Tay-bo). 978/897-3158 In MA. Honest, & will give you good info. I've dealt w/him for years. Fair prices. Has located some orig somewhat unusual hi-po intake manifold cores, & found someone to re-cast them properly. Mildly hi $$ for me, but most folks think they're priced well. & you won't see many on other engines. Sells mallory dist for 6's & 8. Superchargers (oem-style), & loads of other stuff. Carbs, too. & not just Stude... Meyers Studebaker is another good one... Couple others I know, can't think of the correct info just now... Too bad you are so far away, the May meet, usually the 1st full weekend in May, in South Bend, is a Stude meet not to be missed. Some of us refer to it as : Mecca. The real one. Marcus...
Oh BTW: The 259 is probably the best bore/stroke combo of the stude engines... Glad to see another Stude fiend... . Marcus...
I know for a fact that you can modifie the 2bbl. manifold to take a four bbl. I have done it ran a 600 eddy carb. and it worked out great.
