28-9 Firewall?

Does a Model A firewall have to be modified for a sbc? Can it fit with full hood/fenders and radiator in stock location? Looked for pics or threads, not a lot found.

Yup, even for a sbc. Got a sbf in mine. I used a half a garden wheel barrow. Had nice round corners and metal was heavy enough.I did want that utility looking square furnace duct work for a firewall. Pic is from the late 70's
