It's nice to see women that get involved in working on cars. I told my wife when I'm gone she will have a lot of work to do.

If only I would have started my wife out 43 years ago, just think most of the cars in the garage would be fixed by now.

My wife will turn a wrench once in awhile, but her true talent is that messes make her crazy - if I walk away (down to the parts house for something), when I get back, the operating tools have been wiped down and laid on a clean shop rag, floor has been swept/vacuumed of all errant materials, and the radio/TV volume has been turned down.

That's true with my wife also, she has been cleaning my garage for years but I can never keep it clean. When I get finished working I'm hurting so bad everything stays where it lays.

My wife doesn't know a wrench from pliers let alone what a harmonic balancer is.

If there are no pictures, it didn't happen - isn't that the mantra here?

My wife thinks a harmonic balancer has something to do with my Chakra being out of balance. Hell, I didn't even know it was out of whack.

The never too old makes me feel good, my wife thinks I know a lot more than I do but soon she will know more than me.

my wife uses pliers.....to hammer nails into the wall to hang pictures...
but she is known to "hammer" "screws" into the wall too

But similair to what someone else already said. I married her for other reasons than her mechanical skills :D

My ol' lady doesn't even like PARKING next to my hot rods. Must have been SOMETHING I liked about her........

Grand-nephew Brody likes 'em though. He won't leave the fan alone on the 348.

My wife went for a little 150 mile ride with me in my obnoxious hot rod last weekend, and she helps me bleed brakes, move transmissions, etc. But it's been a while since I got her to wrench on her car.

My wife likes to ride in old cars and drive old cars but working on them...not so much...hell, not at all.
I'll always remember when she and a friend's wife were going shopping but the current ride was blocking the new car. They jumped up in the seat and she drove off in the 48 Ford 3/4 ton V8 granny 4-speed Mart Texas Rescue truck.

I'm really happy that my wife is helping me to try to finish some of the cars that have been sitting for years. It doesn't bother her to get dirty (with cars that is) she will draw the line when I start the knuckle busting language lol.

My wife will help if I need a hand. Of course she shows up with all her rings and chains on... and in clean clothes. I do offer her gloves, whatta guy.

She can light an acetylene torch and p*** it to me and I had her weld some s**** pieces together just for the heck of it.

My wife says she doesn't bust her knuckles but when she fell down on my oil spot that I left it was a different story.
