That's the Loch Ness Monster!!! I'm sure of it. At the very least it may be the Canadian (Camadian for some) version called Ogopogo.

    Mystery solved.

I don't know if that's a crocodile or an alligator. I never can remember which is which.

37-38 Plymouth doesn't have a 1 piece hood, if its a Plymouth it must be later.

Maybe if I get a really good run at it, I can make it.

and....take a look at the length of that backmost window in the car on the left....mindful of some kind of limousine?

Otherwise it just looks like two frolicking rustbuckets playing mire tag.

Going to have one hell of a time getting either one started - they both look like they're flooded...

  23. I'm pretty sure that first one shares the same trunk lid as my 1950 dodge wayfarer... The desoto limos had the same homely rear end treatment as my dodge..

Edit- did a little more research and it looks like a late 40's desoto suburban

Not a MoPAR...39-up Chrysler products had a forward slanted "C" pillar. Looks like a 40-ish Studebaker to me.

I didn't even notice the hood the first time I looked,
    It's a 37-38 Chrysler Royal.

Beltline trim certainly looks the part...I thought the early Chrysler hoods opened from the side(s).
