Hey everyone, Im pretty new to the forums and very new to classic cars and general auto mechanics in general. I always have wanted to own, and learn to work on cars, and my friends have told me the best way to learn is to get one, so thats what I've done. I've acquired a 1953 pontiac chieftan 4 door in fairly good condition. I think the engine needs a little tuning up, and a bit of electrical work here and there, and then restoration of the interior and I should be good to go. Any direction on here, or where I should be headed, or who to talk to, would be much appreciated. Thanks!! Michael
Welcome from Indy. Go to the main board and I'll bet there is a Poncho group of some kind. DIG yours by the way.
Welcome from the west coast of Florida. That is a real classic looking automobile that you have. Jimbo
