Anyone know what fits a 55 Buick Century to convert to disc brake in the front? Also gonna bag it so need to find bags to fit where the springs are if possible.
Wilwood are now doing a bolt on kit as well. http://www.wilwood.com/BrakeKits/BrakeKitListFront.aspx?year=1955&make=Buick&model=Special&modoption= Here is a link to an air bag install on a 56. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=420444&highlight=air+bags+front+perch Ross
Wilwood told me last year at SEMA they were going to do a kit for the Buick - I did not believe them but there it is... Looks like they use the 71-76 B body rotor, though IIRC the their biggest Dynalite has 20% less piston area than the big bore GM calipers. I am curious about the small bearing spacers - we needed a 1/2" offset to make it work, and had to go to a tophat shaped spacer using a bigger ID bearing as the bearing surface on the spindle is rather shallow.
