49' Ford Car Dash Width?

Hello everyone,
Can someone tell me what the width of a 49-51 Ford Car's dash is compared to the dash width of a 49-51 Mercury?
Are they shorter than the Mercury?

Hi Michael, The 49-50 Ford dash measures 58 inches across the bottom. It measures 55 inches across the top where the windshield meets the dash. I can email pics if you need them.

 

Thank you very much, I am thinking about using one of these in my Mercury project as I like the design and I can easily install later model gauges into it.
