i'm building my drive train, need advice i'm on a budget...
as of now i have this, what can i use with what i got and what can i add or modify...

Comp cam 12-211-2 grind:270H
freshly bore .060 350 2bolt main block with 350 crank
GM 333882 heads
edlebrock performer rpm intake
turbo 400 BOP ******
2 rear ends #1 chevelle rear non-posi 3:08 #2 camaro rear posi 4:10
headman headers
holly mech gas pump
mech water pump

going in to a heavily modified 54 chevy belair

 

Ditch the Turbo 400 and run the Camaro posi rear with a 2004R or 700R4 transmission,there are a lot of beef up parts available for the 2004R and it being smaller is a much easier fit than the 400 or the 700R4 in a '54 Chev, lots of articles to help you decide:http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&....154.637.0j5.5.0.les;..0.0...1c.1.a-3XRJN-Y9c
