Just a few pics showing rear of ch***is being removed and a new section fabricated. The ride height does not allow for the wheel and tyre combo to fit without much modifaction .Also a new bed frame is made as the pickup bed will be hand formed. [IMG][IMG]

Sorry guys , I am really not at one with posting images . Here is a brief discription of the current images . I fabricated a new frame for the pick up bed. Then started to fab the new pickup out of 18g steel . I have got to a point with the pickup bed ythat I need to start to fab the reshaped b post . The doors will be approx 5 1/2 inches longer so i am making new lower door skins to match the new shape . I will post a few more pics and hope you get the general idea!!!!!!!!!. I shall try and post a bit more regularly.

The next pics show the new running board mounts for the smooth running boards.(I had these folded up in16g steel). They will be be bonded to the mounts later ( not welde to save the distortion)The 20mm x30mm box section was bent in a tube bender but the very front section of box under the front fender was made from 2 pieces ot 18g steel welded together to create a box.

Next just a few pics showing the ride height with the wheels . I will be fitting air bags all round with the truck dropping about 3 inches from ride height .
