Boston M*** Street Racing in the 60's by BOSTONCAMARO might answer your question(s) Do a search for his thread to tune you into this.
As 2many projects stated...Check out the Boston MA Street Racing in the 60's thread. It will answer some questions for you and you can add some of your stories to the thread. Bob March and Bill Lazarus were friends of mine. They both had garages in my neighborhood in Malden,MA. March moved to California in the early seventies...Sadly he would lose his life in a dragster accident in the mid eighties. Laz also moved to California about the same time, he dropped out of the racing scene. I heard he has since been a bush pilot in Alaska, and maybe living in Washinton these days.
Anglial.....maybe you know my dad? wicked 55 that was pretty much the fastest thing around well unless Billy Prendable decided to run his Corvette race car on the street
I knew a Bill Lazarus from Salem who had a blue Model A roadster;Stu Lord from Peabody had a really nice 57 Ford retractable and hung around Pete Preble's motorcycle shop in Salem. Bill Doane had some kind of a pickup(Chevy or GMC)from Marblehead and the last I saw of him was at Paul Burns shop(Motor Inc;home of the Spirit of 76 AA/FD).Don't recall the name Bob March.
