Picked up a 1929 Chevy PU and a couple friends recommended this board for help. The '29 is my second project, but also comes with a LOT more work. I'm totally blown away by the condition this truck was in. I almost feel bad about roddin it. Almost. So far I've picked up a '66 12 bolt rear, and the guy also through in the front end to hack apart and have fun with. Still trying to come up with a solid plan, but that's why I'm here.

  4. Welcome!! From the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I spent a bit of time in Bayview, ID in the 90s.....I remember seeing quite a lot of vintage tin there. You have a lot to pick from.

Hello from the west coast of Florida.

The truck looks to nice to Hot Rod up.

Real cl***ic lines and straight forward simplicity make this truck a thing of beauty.

    Best of luck. Jimbo

Welcome from Meridian! Where in Idaho you located? That is a pretty sweet old truck, I would keep it stock looking if it were mine, just not too many of those left that way.

I just started doing some work on wood boats up there. Its great. Don't think I'll mind hanging around a while.

I'm up abouts CDA area. I'm definitely redoing the drive train, but I'm going to keep a pretty original look about the truck I think. The only bad panels I don't think I can use are the rear fenders. Everything else I'm pretty sure can be patched up. And I'm definitely holding on to any parts I take off in case I change my mind at any given time. I tend to do that. Lots.
