    So cool!

I was thinking to myself however, '88 wasn't that long ago. Then I did the math - 24 years - wow time flies.

    Congratulations on regaining the coupe.

  14. Yes, but it will be no sooner than next year. As a buddy of mine told me, I will have to scab over and heal up a bit from the purchase before I can start putting the bucks into it to make it a reliable roadworthy car again. It has some chassis problems to correct first.:)

  15. DITTO......SUPER, CONGRATS, HAPPY FOR YOU DON, GREAT SMILE, :D ETC.
WHAT A GREAT LOOKING 5 WIND, I'M OLD SCHOOL, SO I LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT, THE HIGH MOUNT (ORIGINAL) LITES, THE COLOR, (A BEIGE INTERIOR WOULD LOOK SUPER), EVEN THE WOOD DASH !!!
WE ALL CAN CONNECT WITH YOU CAUSE WE ALL HAVE SOLD A CAR AT ONE TIME IN OUR LIVES THAT WE LIVE TO REGRET. :(
WE ALL SHOULD BE SO FORUNATE AS YOU. :)

  16. Thanks to all you guys congratulating me.Everything just seemed to fall into place at just the right time. If Danny had offered the car any earlier, I don't think I could have come up with the dough to buy it, but fate aligned just right. The Lord was looking after the old man and helped me on a superficial but to me important opportunity.
Now... if I can only track down my old 59 Vette............nah! I am happy with just this one.:D:D:D

  17. Congrats now dont get greedy. We all have those that got away story. Glad you have the happy ending.

  30. Very cool story. It's amazing how the internet can find the car you thought was lost long ago. Keep us updated on your progress.
