Any idea what these clusters went on? The white one has a C7TF and the black/brown one has a C8TF on the cluster shell but a C9 on the plastic shroud/bezel/face (whatever it would be called)
67-72 Ford pickup I believe. C7 = 1967, C8 = 1968, etc. T probably means truck. They look like the ones in a couple of those trucks I had years ago.
In the second picture on the rear of the panel,on the RH side is a small square box with 2 wires. That is the "Instrument Voltage Reducer" it is used to lower the voltage to 6Volts. All Ford instruments up untill the mid '80s had this or simular reducer..This is what I used on my '51 that is converted to 12 volt system for the 6 volt gauges. Jim
Ford PN prefixes denote the year the part was introduced, and remained the same as long as the part didn't change... a longer time on trucks than cars frequently. This is likely the explanation of the one with both '67 and '69 prfixes...older cluster with a new shell to update the new model.
Would an F1 be a 91? I have a door tag that begins with F1 and the model is F102. It was the doors off a pickup that I saved some parts and trim from
