Hey guys a big thumbs up for the 38 Chev build and keeping it it orig. I just left Joanne and saw the poster and pics you sent her. She's glad the car ended up being done that way. Brought back a lot of memories for her. I was saddened to hear the story of the guy we origionally sold it to but glad it made it into your hands, and for what you did to it.
Just so you know some s*** bags tried to clean out her garage and take everything for 1500 bucks which would have a travesty. Just glad that the HAMB came to the rescue and saved a piece of history...........
Anyway once again thanks for taking the time and effort to make a really neat older lady happy.....thumbs up to you guys......:D:D:D

Wow, what a neat car, and a jimmy in it to boot.

What are the details on the rest of the running gear? Surley it hasn't got the stock trans and rear in it.

Yep what is even greater is that it was sold to Larry over the HAMB. He came all the way out to Ariz to pick it up and all the pieces that went with it man what a stash. Larry was an up front guy who knew what he was getting and really helped out Joanne after the loss of her husband thats why I really appricate what you guys have done to bring the car back it deserves it and she is thrilled. Also a big thumbs up for sending her the poster that you guys used for the show it is proudly displayed in her living room, and you should see her smile when looking at it!...........way too kool..........thanks again........

Thanks Bill for tracking her down again and getting the pics to her. If I had of been able to keep the car, I was going to surprise her at her front door with one more drive in it.
When I originally bought it and picked it up she said that she would fly to PA to see it again, but I had a feeling that would be too much for her. That just shows how much that car ment to her and the memories that she still has.
You just put the icing on the cake Bill, job well done.

BILL MAZAK'S 38 Custom! Was built in OH & now back in OH with my buddy ( new owner) Ron Ernsberger!
Ron has been working on the old girl!
    1. Relocated the rear end so that it now tracks properly. Also lowered 2 inches.

    2. Complete new Fat Man Fabrication front end with disc brakes and rack and pinion steering. Centered in the wheel well.

    3. New carb linkage and now all the carburetors are working.

    4. New wiring kit.

    5. Removed all the dents.

    6. New head liner and carpet.

    7. New gl*** in the doors.

    8. New shifter linkage.

    9. Blue dot tail light lenses.

    10. Hood and fenders louvered.

Drives like a new car now.

Thought you guys would like to see it! Tks Bill Fowler /Solo Speed Shop \'38Customin1954.JPG 20150828_111507.jpg 20150828_111519.jpg 20150828_111629.jpg 20150828_111642.jpg
