This guy ended up in my car somehow. I think maybe Ryno sent him on a trip with me because he was in my car after Starbird's.

Jacuzzi in the hotel room? Yes, please.

    Bar pork chops. Damn good!

This was out in the hotel parking lot a while ago. Not on the tour. A HAMBer?

Oh yeah, two awesome things that happened today...

First, I was in the cheesy giftshop in the pic above and a guy hands his blind girlfriend a rabbit's foot keychain. She says, "I haven't seen one of these in years." True story.

Then tonight in the bar there was a midget chick sitting a couple seats away from me.

    Good times.

Yes, the fucked up 3 stooge moe/ football/ star treky looking doll was purchased at some back road antique shop mini ryno and I stop at today on our trip out there.

I told the boy to look for a jacked up doll or clown to keep ya company and remember him by,that's the first thing we saw in the first booth when we walked in,so it was destiney.

Can't believe I finally got to meet you. I didn't think it would happen in my own home town either.. I figured it would probably happen at a GG show or in California. Thanks for taking a couple minutes to come out and introduce yourself.

Although.. I do recall seeing you once at a GG show back in 2005 or so. I was only 17 at the time and wasn't really into traditional stuff yet. You were taking pictures of the Autocross section then I watched you flip someone off. That's when I knew you were cool.

    Anyways. Thanks again, man.

    DAY THIRTEEN..........

Today started at Hot Rod Garage in Sand Springs, OK only a couple miles from the hotel. Coffee, donuts and bitchin cars!

After a while we headed to Bruce Ricks' collection just a couple miles from Hot Rod Garage. He has mostly high-end cars so I'll spare you the whiner fodder, but he did also have a DAMN COOL collection of tether cars and toys.

From there we blasted east to Amarillo. I made a couple stops at touristy traps and Route 66 places. I also drove the 'Bird on the real Route 66. All in all a cool day on the road.

Oh, I also stopped at a barber in Amarillo. It was in a house in the bario. Cool place and a great haircut, plus a full shave with a straight razor!

    Today's pics......

Got to HRG too late to meet anyone, but enjoyed the brief look at some neat rides. Would loved to crawl around Tom Walsh's 40, shake your hand, and meet Andy and others. Oh well, here's the pictures I took.

Insane. You must be having a ball. I like the yellow driving lights/headlights. Gives the car a different attitude.
