    The pass side A and B post done. Door is back together. Working on sail panel. Pulled the motor and trans to be rebuilt.

    It's a little difficult to see here, but when you molded the fenders, did you just weld them in place after the welting was removed or did you add a strip of filler to round out the contour? The way those fenders meet in stock form looks pretty smooth, and yours look great. I'm just wondering if a filler strip or some lead is needed to even out the contour.

    No filler strip or lead. Had to bring the fender down a tad so the body rolled into the fender right. Also welded on both sides of fender. If that helps you out.

    Looking good. This might be the coolest projects going on the HAMB right now. I love all the early Ford's, shoeboxes, Merc's, and Caddy's.... but man after a while it's nice to see something different.

  26. If you've been following along on this thread and you absolutely have to have a '41 Buick of your own, I found this big black sedan with "compound carburetion" for sale in the northeast corner fo Indiana. It was still sitting there this morning. :cool:
