Old front engine dragster, need help.

    so i have inherited an old front engine dragster. its called "the street sweeper" i have tried posting pics several times, but its just not working. maybe i can email the pics to someone that has more knowledge about these? im looking for any information i can get. i think its from the 60's maybe earlier.

    sure. Im not really a car guy, but my late father was. He passed last year, and now i have a few projects that im going to need help with(this dragster, 57 chevy belair, 57 chevy pickup).so here i am. I make custom fiberglass parts for Harley Davidsons for a living.

    here's alittle help with the pics, was getting a sore neck trying to look at them:D Are you going to try to finish the car? If so your starting with more than most guys do, There's lots of info on this site for all your projects, Tim Jones

    honestly im not sure. just sort of tossing the idea around. I have very little knowledge of how to even start. However, if i do, he also left an assortment of engines to choose from complete just siting on stands. I have no clue what im doing, but i guess i have to start somewhere.

    I don't think any of us knew what we were doing when we got in to the car deal, it's a learn as you go deal, kinda like fiberglassing, Tim Jones

    Welcome from Oklahoma. Sorry for the passing of your dad. There are several FED threads on here with a lot of intelligent people that can help out. Post pics and questions on the main board for more help.

    Thanks. Ya I've been lookn around a couple days on here. Some good inspiration. I think I'll give this a shot. It's been siting there a long time. Time to wake her up:)

    They aren't anything to exciting. Probly 2-3 small blck Chevys and at least 1 454. A few bare blocks, and I don't know what most of it is. I'm goin to the shop this weekend and ill take pics( shop is over 100 miles away).
