This is my new car , I just buy it last week end , the color is very bad but love this car Have you examples ? I like this one : http://stylishkustoms.blogspot.fr/2011/10/46-ford-coupe.html Can you give me some detail of this car and some picture of your car thank's
Ya the color is a little weak but the car looks great, love them flatheads. You can change the color easy. Have fun......
Ok thank's for your comment , in France it's not easy to find this car . For the red 46 do you know the number color ?
Hell, it's not easy to find one that nice in the US. The colour is OK ?? but that maroon '46 is beautiful. I haven't decided on a color for my '48 yet but after seeing those pics I think now I know. I already have the flattie painted maroon. Start driving your '46 & have fun while you're working on it. All the best.
Yes 48coupe the maroon'46 is very nice . how can I dropp it with original axle ? can give me some idea ? Thank's for your experiment
you couldn't imagine how many french guys would like to live on the ocean next side.... anyway, that car is looking pretty good even if the color should not be my favorite too, I am quite confident about the future for that old ladie Wish to be tomorow to see it by myself and have a cool ride together

Here are some threads about lowering these old Fords. Reversing spring eyes-from the TECH archive: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=90824&highlight=spring Good thread from Lono about lowering his '41: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=701300&highlight=shackles Another thread on using longer shackles: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=600903 Another from the TECH archive mostly about axles but some good spring information: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=292075&highlight=spring Great looking fat fender Ford.
Great score brother, love those sweet Ford coupes. I had a 42 and a 46 tu-door and always wanted a coupe, maybe some day! Rock on with that beauty, Congrats man. ~sololobo~

Nice Ford! Enjoy it! Maybe find a 2x2 intake for it, some dual exhausts, some rear fender skirts, some cool old custom hubcaps, lower it a little more and you will have a very cool mild custom. Here are a couple ideas, The light coloured Ford is mildly customized and the full tilt Lopez custom. All photos taken from Rik Hoving (Kustomrama). Keep us posted on your path and progress. HC.
Ok thank you I need the rear to when I'm ready I'm going to buy them to Bob drake Thank you very nice pictures if you have another some do not hesitate has to show them to us
