    Hi all,

My good budy just picked up this 8BA manifold with a peculiar looking carb on it. Possibly a big truck carb? Anyone know?

Mercury came with a larger carb than Ford, and a 4 bolt intake. A Rochester 2GC off a Chev V8 will bolt on. This used to be a common low buck hop up. Rochester carb and Merc manifold fits on a flathead Ford. The local dirt track stock cars used them back in the sixties.
