Since my car is cousins with the 63/64 Impala I figure that there should be some complete airbag kits out there for my car as well. Taking a quick glance they look to have the same frame and A arms, although my Olds does have the larger drums and 5x5 bolt pattern.

My car is a 1963 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Holiday with a 394/Hydramatic Slim Jim.

    I found this online:
    http://www.airbagit.com/Air-Suspension-kits-all-4-wheels-p/fbs-old-06-kit3.htm
Is that a good kit at a good price or are they selling junk?

I'm looking for a 2-3" drop with stock comfort (or better) and the ability to raise my rear axle for load and to back out onto the street with out digging my tail pipe into the asphalt.

Maybe I should go for lowered steel springs for the front and a simple system for the rear? It also would be fun to set it on the ground at shows and the parking lot. My wife drives this car more than I do and she loves it so I gotta keep it comfortable and reliable.

    What do ya think?

I also own a 63 Dynamic 88 two door Holiday.
The Olds and Chevy frames and chassis are not the same. The Chevys used a frame in the shape of an X from 58 to 64. The Olds (and Pontiac) used a rectangular "perimeter" frame from 61 to 64. The axle and suspension of the Olds and Pontiacs was larger and more heavy -duty.
That notwithstanding, The kit that you linked to does include 63 Olds in it's discription. From what I can see it is made of good components. I think if I were you I would inquire of the manufacturer the installation instructions. Also, ask them if they can shoot you some pictures of finished installations on 61 to 64 Oldsmoblies or Pontiacs.

Avoid Airbagit (and Helix) products like the plague. They are pure junk.

I've used aairbagit twice before with NO problems.
Still working in those cars today.
I'm about to order the same kit with upgrades for my 1961 Dynamic 88.
PM me if you want more info.
