In the San Fernando Valley or Los Angeles area. Can anyone recommend a shop for complete rewiring? I mean I want to find a shop (a garage, a mechanic) not a supplier. Truck is a running project with electrical problems and I have a deep aversion to electrical. lol. Your recommedations appreciated. Thanks.

It's not all that hard, you just need time and patience. I recommend removing the dash. Trying to do it upside down and in the dark your first time will get you frustrated real fast.

I'm sure there are a lot of shops in your area that could rewire your truck but it's not rocket science,,with a good wiring kit it's not that difficult to do at home and will save you a lot of money. HRP

There are multiple sources for OEM style wiring harnesses. These harnesses are factory color coded and fit righy. You would be time and money ahead to purchase the harnesses, and then pay someone to install.

Paying someone to create a wiring harness from scratch would be much more expensive...

I wired my T on a weekend with no kit. I had a schematic, bought and routed the wires. There were a couple hi-cups, but those were simple fixes. If I can do it, you surely can.

And I think electricity is the Devil, but he can be tamed.

I'm near Burbank, but if it's a great shop, I'll take the truck anywhere within 30 miles of me.

Thanks, Stevie and everyone else who suggests doing myself, but time and patience are in short supply. Bottom line, I'll do anything on a vehicle, but electrical gives me a headache. I need the truck ASAP, it's my shop truck and it works HARD.

Glad there is at least one other HAMB member that knows better that trying the do it yourself electrical! It is NOT a simple part of auto restoration. Bob
