Glad all you guys can make it. It should be a good show. One of my friends is going to bring his slingshot dragster again this year and will fire it again. Last year they did burnouts in the streets until the cops showed up, that was funny. The psycho band from phoenix is really good from what I hear, and the surf band here will totally blow you away with how tight they are. Vendors are going to be really good this year as well. This whole deal takes me between 6-8 months to plan and met the clubs requirements. Its totally worth it and I make no money at this. just trying to spread the gospel of hot rodding.
I'ma comin too. Ron,are the posters going to be available? I have the first three, but I'm not sure how many I missed after I moved. The last one I have is the one with you leaning over the fender of your dads 55. If there were more, is ther any chance of getting the ones I missed ole buddy ole pal!
Kustom 72 last year we had any where 30-60 cars. some came and stayed for the whole show while others stayed for only a little while. Jerry from phoenix came and had a blast. If sling shot dragsters doin burnouts on Congress street light your fire you will wnat to be there. That's what happened last year. bttt.... saw my brother this weekend, he was at CC last weekend for the reunion thingy. I suppose that's a different crowd! but maybe I'll get him to show up for the Greaseball gig. sounds like fun.
Sept. 30th, damn! I just realized that that is the day that the California Hot Rod Reunion starts. Looks like I'll have to miss this deal because I'll be in Bakersfield for CHRR.
