Got my A coupe looking a little more like a car today with the help of 4 of my buddies. We sat the body on the frame. Waiting on the hemi from the rebuild shop.
All it took was a couple of beers and bag of peanuts and a diet coke. Thanks guys.

A trim is in the plans. Sure won't be much of a seat bottom after I do that. Any suggestion?

Thanks Nate. I'm on a bit of a delay now as I took the end of my finger off a few days ago. Still should have her on the road soon, maybe to Wolf Creek Pike?

  16. Speaking of seat bottom, I'm getting a little education with my channeled A roadster project. Put your steering in before you install a seat. I'm dead set on a 40 Ford steering wheel and "NO" tilt ****. It's more than a little Tight. I'm now doing surgery on the dash to raise the column enough to be able to drive the Damn thing. Didn't see that coming.

Well I'm finally back to work on my A coupe after about a two month delay to let my cut off finger tip heal up. Engine and ****** back in the frame (for the last time I hope). Ready to start firewall recess fab.

Car's looking good ,I DON'T see a gas tank have you consider flipping the firewall . Just an idea to toss around and watch out for the fingers

Making some progress on my A. Have the firewall installed. I know there are better fabricators out there but I can't afford them.
