I got my intake and four of the six carbs back today. Still workin on the other two....

 

i got a tracking number today, for parts shipped today. even though he said they were shipped last week. whaterver. they are on their way. i dont care if its a box of ****ing bricks, im done. thanks guys.

got the rest of my stuff today. still aint ****ing right. i got a firestone compressor instead of two viair, one bag has a pretty good size cut in it, and no switches for it. but im done with it. this has pissed me off long enough, and ill just get over it. i wasted 400 bucks, but ill be ok.

I'm pretty sure. He was trying to hock some 2gc's but I got the 'shady deal' vibe from PMs and didn't buy any. Good thing, it looks like...

2xcrash was taken for some $$$ too. I forwarded him this link to hopefully help him out. He did a search on the address he got from him. This weekend we planed on going out to meet him for the parts. The google arial shot was an empy lot.

I have always treated the hamb like you guys are my neighbors and I dont **** where i sleep but unfortunatly alot of guys look at the hamb as a meal ticket and got Marcus disease its only bound to get worse I have seen several times Hambers list things in the cl***ifieds the day after a auction ends on e-bay at a huge profit and it would be impossable for them to posess the item this spells train wreck

 

He's given me an addy and tells me he'll be home on sunday. I gota go to LA anyway so we'll see..

 

Ok, today chopped50ford and I motor'd out to the addy he gave me and we we're to meet at 1:00. When we got there he didn't have the carbs that he was going to hold for me when I got the rest of my order of bags,valves. fittings, 5 gal tank,compresser,and lines. I had pay paled him $350 of the $525 that we made the deal for.
What he had was valves, 3gal tank,and a compressor. No lines, fittings,and BAGS (the main thing I wanted). He said that he didn't know that I still wanted them cause I told him I wanted my money back earlier. Also after driving 2 hours to get to his place he could have saved me a trip by telling me he didn't have the rest of what I wanted. He says that he'll have the rest of my order in the mail with a tracking # after work Monday....
So I still havent got everything but at least I've got something so far.

 

1evil51 squared everything up with me on the deal that started all this. It took a few months but we got it done. However, Darusty1 sent me a ton of e-mails to buy some slicks and tires I had and the check was "in the mail". That was about a month ago. I didn't know it was the same person.

 

you guys should have stopped by. i sat here bored all day. i did watch Blvd Nights though.

 

my **** still isnt square. and there isnt a thing i can do about it. ****ing deadbeat.

this guy's a punk.i bought some goods from him,and he chumped me off. he refunded my money,but did'nt tell me.i got better **** to do than wait for some loser to tell me he is'nt going to sell me parts AFTER i paid for them. even though recently other hambers have been diligently honest by telling people why they rip people off,how much they will rip off hambers for,and WHY they deserve to be the ones ripping people off....i like the alameda swap meet.good honest northern california hot rodders with a solid sense of community...
