just removed a garage that was in bad shape and found these doors. i remember being a kid and my grandfather draging these around to countless swap meets. nobody ever figured what the hell they came off of. im hoping somebody here can tell me as well as what they may be worth. thanks guys!
sorry guys, my name is dan. im not so much into pre war stuff so i dont know much about it. this site was recomended to me by a friend. my grandfather restored several modal As in his small garage. he died 20 years ago, and the small garage was getting pretty unsafe so we tore it down. im just tring to find good homes for all these parts. ive given most of it away to local guys ive met at carshows. at least then i know they have a car, and not taking the parts to make a buck. when i was 8 or so i helped my grandfather load parts in his truck to take to countless swap meets. these doors were a constant in that process. i had forgoten about them until finding them a couple weeks ago moving things out. if i offended anybody with my lack of introduction im sorry. if anybody can tell me what these are from, please let me know. thanks in advance.
Make them into wall art , blow up a picture of your Pa's and stick it in the window, hang it on the garage wall for a keepsake!
Truck, bus special body...note the weird window lift mechanism, general hand-made look. Somewhere in my heaps of stuff I have a catalog from a place that supplied hinges, latches, lifts and stuff like that foe commercial bodies.
