Was driving with my elderly father to the movies down here in Kissimmee and noticed this truck in traffic. Was a nice clean looking truck and sounded like it had a good motor in it ( sounded like a 350/383 and probably 300-400hp with the muscle car sounding exhaust ) . The guy also had tail lights mounted to the rear lower bumper area and each taillight was probably a foot across and was rectangular with rounded ends and looked to be 3 bulb setup.

I'm guessing this truck is late 30s , like 37-38-39 ? And sorry for the not so great pics, from iphone.

  7. Wow, check out the "arm" graphics. Kinda looks like Sampson the monster truck.

Cool truck but the wheels look out of place.

The 37 Chevy trucks look good but I prefer the original headlights. HRP

That looks like a truck that was built in Otho IA, by Gummy. It sold on E-bay a couple years ago and think the new owner drove it back to Florida. If it is, its a 350 350 turbo with a mustang 2 front.

Those are good looking trucks. The father of a friend of mine had a 38 that was his farm pickup. Beat to hell, ran OK, wish I could have gotten it when he sold the farm.

You're good if you can tell CI and HP just by hearing it.

I'm just guessing the motor and hp from the few cars I've owned/resto'd , drag cars my friends have built ( one friends family has a combined total of 19 Chevy II novas), and working at my friends autobody shop where all different cars have came thru
