I have two options for a carb on my flat six. I have a Carter and Stromberg single barrel carb that I can use. The Stromberg is on the engine I plan on using (36 dodge) and the Carter is off of an early 35 dodge. Is one better than the other? Or is it personal preferance ? Both look in good condition. I want to have both rebuilt but need one done soon. The other will be a spare or sold.

I would rebuild the one I could find parts for the easiest.

Good point. I'm just wondering if one is better than the other?
