tryin to decode the 350 and see what it came out of, and havin a hard time cause of that 3rd number/letter/symbol.... it cant be a 1 since it dosent look like the other 1's in the number right? dosent look like anything else i think, ive tried lookin up the how to's and look the number up but cant seem to find anything... help a brother out. thanks in advance

And again, the casting number just gives you a general idea of what it is, they used the same casting number on chev 350 blocks for years.
Not sure , gotta drop the oil pan to find out, right ? which ill prob do the next couple days when I put this cal custom finned pan on,
It my experience that when I see a T as the first letter of the engine code part of the assembly code that its from a truck...in 1968 the first letter for trucks is Y...I dont know when it switched to a T for truck possibly early 70s..
