Lets see some custom tail lights on 49-54 Chevy's

WOW ! Those are awesome how'd you do it?

 

ive built a few for some guys on here, i use the guard to make a mold and then go from there. the lenses are a translucent resin with a red dye tinted to my liking. if you search my Threads i did a "how to tech" awhile back on some.

 

yep. square back lights. SOOOO rad. i was looking at those for mine. love it.

I believe they are Buick..not sure on the year.. i almost bought a pair for mine.. cool looking light..

Jamcoupe, your car is super clean. I love it. The chop has perfect proportions. I have a 51 Fleetline and I really hate the way the stock fenders and taillights look. Your's is one of the best I have seen for an alternative to the stock lights. Did you have to peak the rear quarters to match the lights? Also, what rear bumper are you running, '55 chevy?

 

Thanks again! Its a 54 Chevy front bumper and yes I had to peak the top of the fenders to match the sharp line in the tailight bezel and lens.

No pics yet because I am just now doing the rear bumper, lights next but I am useing 59 Pontiac mounted verticaly.
