Looking for help on a 1936 International Harvester C-1. Anyone have any pictures, repair manuals or drawings of what the window regulator looks like. I need to track down some parts to get my windows working. I think I have most critical parts but don’t have the actual piece where the glass sits on and moves on the regulator arms that go up and down. Any help is appreciated thanks, Ricardo
International cabs were made by Budd, which also made Ford's truck cabs. I'm not sure about '36, but they may be the same as Ford. The K series Haybalers ('41-'49) used the same latches as '38-'47 Ford truck, even used the same outside door handles.
i just bought some door panels with a regulater attached as a bonus........i may have two.....do you have an extra windshield frame? i can get pics today at the ranch.
ohhh.... mine are earlier from wood door style 34/35......may be different ....i will get pics regardless.
Thanks guys appreciate the help. I did find a picture of a 1935-36 ford and its similar. I think I can fab the part I'm looking for with some work. will post pic of what i found and need
here is 34/35 reg .....seems much different than yours but like i say it was a change over year from wood to steel sub structures
after a re-read i realize we are talking two different things. i should pay more attention.....lol.....
The "U" shaped part required that holds the glass should be available from a automotive glass shop. Last car I did the guy gave me a 4' length, so it probable isn't very expensive. Was lucky, the originals were there just rusted out. Cut off the guide rail part that the arm slid on and welded it onto the "U" channel to duplicate original. Not much help for your binder I am afraid. Your mechanism doesn't look that different from the original from my "A" coupe. Canuck
Thank you for hunting them down appreciate your help. Now I confirmed I'm not missing any parts to regulator just the window channel it self. Hope I can find some or atleast someone that knows what they look like in case I have to fab myself
