Anyone have pics of rear seat area? Looking to buy a chevy styleline coupe but a few cars I've seen have no leg room. I need room for 2-3 kids in back seat. Should I go with a sedan instead? Help......
'49-'54 Ford coupes: (to include '54 is prudent, '52-'54 are pretty much the same interior room-wise) Reasonably comfy for smaller people, but legroom is short. This is directly relative to how far the front seat is adjusted back. I love the Coupes, previous marriage had 5 sons (!) and we used my '54 Ford Coupe a lot. (the boys were young, oldest was 7. There was room for everyone. Laws have changed now, so it wouldn't work any longer without car seats, restraints, etc.) Thinking about convenience getting the little folks in and out, however, I'd recommend a fordor. My wife used to lean in and put the baby in the car seat...but she's young, toned, strong, and good looking!
Thanks Mike. I should of clarified make and model better. Not a 4 door fan so it must be a 2 door chevy styleline coupe or sedan.
Plenty of room in my '50 Styleline. It has a chopped top, 3 in front and 5 in the back and my 6'7" Aussie friend can still sit up straight i the back....barely... Some pics in my profile. Plenty of room in teh back for legs even with front bech pushed pretty far back Hans
I've been in both and even the coupe has more room than most modern cars. The sedan has a ton of room. Either would be more than adequete for kids.
Thanks for info...Hans the deluxe looks nice. That's a sedan correct? I just don't like 4 doors and re-sale or value isn't there compared to a 2 door. My kids are 8,5 & 2. My youngest wont be cruising all the time but the older kids love taking a cruise on weekends. Looking at a 51 sedan tomorrow and have the pamona swap meet Sunday. Cash in hand hope to find a new ride..... Thanks, Dan
