Seems I have a little weeping at the front of the intake, around water p***age at intake. I am 99.9999 % sure there are no cracks. The gasket is the paper type and seems it soaked up some coolant. Any recommendations on maybe those blue felpro, NON paper material gaskets? They are for some street/strip ported factory GM rectangular port heads. Anyone have some part numbers, links, pictures of the ones you guys use? I appreciate the help and input! Regards, Tim
I need them for Rect Port heads you guys have a part number on those you recommend?....also do you think it makes sense to go with the little thicker ones? they make it in a .60 and .65
No matter what the gasket type I always put sealant around coolant ports on intake gaskets. I look at it this way …. Why take a chance and have a leak and have to pull it back off or leak inside and not catch it until the oils full of coolant.
I usually do too and did on these I believe but I think a super thin, just a touch on these..but the gaskets themselves ****....dont know what we even put them in..
I called it a bog block haha thanks Engine Pro and everyone else! what do you know of these? Fel-Pro Q1275S3 they are thinner, mainly wondering why they are like 10 bucks more I am going to get the ones you suggested, as I also came across those today
