I had filled this introduction out, and for some reason, it did not post, and me being a little ADHD, i never gave it a second thought, and posted a few times without anyone knowing who I am. For this error i apologize greatly. Now to the business. Hello everyone, I'm Michael S. Ramsey. I live in Central Arkansas. I am a stage hand with the I.A.T.S.E. I play drums in a couple blues bands, build hand wired tube guitar amps, hot rods, motorcycles, 4x4 trucks, and anything else i get the chance to. I recently located the 1958 Ford Custom 300 my step dad drove when i was a teenager. His mother had bought it for him a few months before she died of brain cancer. Later on due to a shift in family loyalty and other circumstances he was forced to sell it for lack of a place to store it after the cam broke. Then 15 years later, i happened upon it in a friends uncles salvage yard. I spotted the front half of the passenger fender thru the bushes from 50 yards away and knew it instantly. Many a memorable night were spent in that old car driving down dirt roads and jumping culverts. I was considering putting a big block 460 and c6 in this car, but have since decided to keep the 223 and add a t5, triple visiflows and a warmer cam, and just enjoy the car as i did as a rowdy teenager. I have already found more info and help here in a couple weeks than i ever thought possible, Old school hot rodders are the heart and soul of this lifestyle, and i value their wisdom. Again, I apologize for the oversight of the lack of my introduction, and hope my blunder hasn't offended anyone beyond repair. Thanks again and in advance for everything i have, and will learn from all the great people here. Have a great day everyone.
Welcome BB. I too posted my intro then it didn't show up. So I wrote a fresh one today. I'm a Ford guy too. I have a pair of 61s, an F100 and a Falcon.
Ummm.... yeah......... I may have been a little late with my intro (2 1/2 years), so we shall both burn in hell! but for now...... Hi! Welcome to the H.A.M.B.
Hey hey from Haskell.. (May as well call it Benton) AR. I don't post much, just search and read a lot.
My intro was riddled with silly talk of building a 70 chevelle pro-street .... boy did I get a whupping! My lil' brother is heavy into movie production, guitar building and all things unnatural in Conway ... maybe we are related.
Dana 2012 you add your pic by editing your avatar, and thanks everyone for the welcome. And thanks for letting me look at and study so much knowledge and awesome rides!!
Welome from Socal. its nice to see another 58 custom 300. Mine is coming along slowly but i drive it every day.
