I've got eight people coming, hope to see you all there. We'll come by and say hello Dave.

Atlanta Speed Shop Dragway, Points Meet, 1965 or '66. Sorry about the quality, 15 year old with a $3 dollar camera.

Sorry enloe, We tried to let every one know Your tickets will be at the will call desk - Coca Cola table near the gate The tickets came in too late to safely mail them so we felt it better for your convenience to have them at will call Sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused you

If someone on the street asks for directions, so you tell them to google it? And then give wrong directions? Its exit 149.

  19. Had a blast. I raced and watched the show. The night stalker and grey Willys were my faves. Thanks for bringing the race back! There should be a mandatory clutch class

That was a great show! The 55 Chevy "Coonhound" was good till we broke a rocker stud, kicked 2 rockers off and bent a pushrod. TwoCan Tom had it back together this A.M. and all is good. Met some real good people there. Thanks!

We had a great time and saw a lot of great cars. There were a good many vendors and the car show has some nice cars. There were fewer nastalga race cars than I would have wanted but there were enough to put on a good show. The event was well attended and I hope they will have it again next year. I would be glad to hand out and/or post flyers up in my area to help out. I got to meet some HAMB'ers and enjoyed the whole day. Lots of good racing with both the newer cars and the older cars puting on a show.

I think that attendance and car count would have been better if there had not been a point race at Reynolds and numerous car shows around the area at the same time.

The main thing is "Lets Do It Again".

Julius III & I are so thankful for the wonderful weather we had Saturday. We appreciate and thank all of the volunteers who helped us get the word out about the race and the dedicated people who worked so hard at the race. To all the sponsors who believed in Julius' ability to make it happen, to all of the racers, to all of you who came to participate in any of the events and to the spectators who came to see it happen, we are grateful for your support and so glad you were there with us. Drag Racing has always been an enormous part of our family's life. We want the Atlanta $10,000 Nostalgia Drag Race and Car Show to be fun for all and a place for families to enjoy time together and learn more about Drag Racing. We hope it will become an annual event to honor our memories of days gone by and to create new memories for ourselves and generations to come

    The Atlanta $10,000 is scheduled for Oct 18 & 19 2013
    See you there!

  29. I sure wish Honest Charley would have some kind of presence at these Atlanta $10,000 events, just like in the old days. The re-association of two southern hot rodding/drag racing institutions: Honest Charley and the Atlanta Speed Shop - man, talk about bringin' the past back to life!

The Atlanta Speed Shop/Honest Charley Fueler (ex Ivo car). "Honest Charley of Atlanta" lettered on the right hand side, and "Atlanta Speed Shop" on the left .......
