A buddy just picked up a Ford F1. The color code on the tag is "D" what color is D? Correction... its a 52 Also some have the FORD spelled out under the hood above the grill, Is this stock or an option.
Well on the truck in the picture the hood is off a 51. The word FORD where you said would be standard for a 52.
According to this website http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?manuf=Ford&year=1952, the "D" code is "Woodsmoke Grey". I don't know how accurate the information on the site is, but it did match the "Sheridan Blue" code for my F1. Hope this helps. BOutlaw
