Ok well I have been contemplating on either trying to repair my 60 big window cab or getting another big window cab. Well I found a 59 big window cab with a complete front clip and solid short bed. I really couldnt p*** up the deal so it should be arriving shortly. The questions I have are what are the differences between the two years? I mean the bare cabs not the knobs and what not. Also What is the difference between both cabs where the main wiring loom goes throw the firewall on the drivers side? On the 60 it has two big rubber plugs and nobody reproduces that harness.
Mine is a 60 and the cab,bed and front clip I'm getting was from a guy a few hours away that had them sitting in a yard. I would have never torn a car/truck apart. Don't have the heart to do it. That's why I'm trying to sell or trade the clip,bed and cab that I have no but no interest or bites yet
I have a complete 60 not 59. The 59 cans,bed and few other small parts were just sitting in a yard with nothing else.
Also can some one please post a picture of a stock 59 f100 firewall focusing more on the drivers side? Thank you.
