ribbed top

    has anyone used a 1958 Ford sedan ribbed top,for a filler panel in a coupe. i think they would look good.

    I have a friend that used one to fill a Model A sedan roof. I worked really well in the sedan.

    Volvo has the right curvature for a Model A coupe.

    The one I used was from a 242, only paid $75 cut off at the post. I cut the top panel out and moved it around and then trimmed to fit. If you are going to leave the wood, go to a commercial roofing company and get some copper flashing to use for a heat shield.

    I used a '58 Ranchero top to fill my old coupe
    'worked out pretty good
